A cycle tour around the Ammersee is a wonderful way to explore the lake. The approx. 46 km long route mostly leads directly along the shores of the lake, mainly on cycle paths, forest trails and roads with little traffic.
The tour does not have to be an athletic feat. It takes about 5 hours to cycle the route at a leisurely pace with swimming and beer garden breaks.
Visitors, hikers and cyclists flock to the shores of our lake, especially at beautiful weekends or on public holidays. The tour around the lake by "Radl", as they say in Bavaria, offers many scenic attractions and also leads through quieter corners.
Especially south of the Ammersee in the moorland of the Alte Amper and in the final stage via Ellwang and Rausch, cyclists are among themselves.
In the area of Herrsching, Utting and Stegen there are also several opportunities to jump into the cool waters of the Ammersee.
And as a reward, you can enjoy some well-deserved refreshments in our beer garden.
