Perfect base for excursions
Herrsching and the surrounding area offer great excursion opportunities for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts.
The Ammersee is the third largest lake in Bavaria and impresses with its nostalgic
paddlewheel steamers and its particularly good water quality.
Herrsching is considered the "gateway to the Ammersee" for Munich, as the S-Bahn (line S8) runs right into the
centre of this friendly, Berbayrian community.
