It's amazing how time flies...
"A little best of & lesser-known songs from the last 30 years" is packed with hits and numbers that the audience can sing along to with great fervor and stories that many still remember. But there are also new songs. And with 150 songs that have flowed from the pen of the Bavarian singer-songwriter over 30 years, who has everything in their head?
New or slightly older - that doesn't matter much, because the songs definitely have one thing in common: they are all timeless. People's deep longings, desires and humor do not change so quickly, even with the passage of time.
Roland Hefter has retained his stage presence and his spontaneous and uncomplicated closeness to the audience even after 30 years on stage, and he wants to keep it that way - "as long as it lasts". Hopefully that will be a few more years ... just long enough for ideas to turn into songs again, for his health to improve and for the joy of spending wonderful evenings with a cheerful, cosmopolitan audience throughout Bavaria to continue.
